Option 2: Hire a Programmer

If your site needs more functionality than a basic muse test site, you'll want to build a custom site. If you have more money than time, we recommend using elance.com to find yourself a qualified web design team.

To use Elance, you will need:

  • A site logo. Usually your design team can create one for you if you don't already have one.
  • A few example sites that give the programmers an idea of what you want. (Just search the internet for a site that looks similar to what you want.)
  • Your product description and warranty/pricing info
  • Any testimonials
  • Any extra graphics. They can choose stock photos for you if you don't want to, but you'll usually be happier with the photos that you choose yourself.
  • PayPal button code for your team to copy and paste
    (You'll need a PayPal Merchant Account)
  • Google Analytics code for your team to copy and paste
